Jae Towle Vieira [she/they] is a writer and editor wandering between southern Arizona, northern California, and Portland, Oregon. Jae likes to explore the tensions between omniscience and subjectivity, long sentences, and the edges between perspectives. Nonbinary. Queer. Collector of blue glass relics. Known to put too many things on windowsills. They have one novel out on submission & they’re working on another.
Jae is the founding editor of Manzanita Papers, a literary subscription box dedicated to lesser-known excellent books. Jae also works as a production assistant on two Defector podcasts: Normal Gossip and Namedropping.
